Crowns
When a tooth is damaged beyond repair, a porcelain or porcelain-on-gold crown restores it - in strength, function, and appearance.
A crown rebuilds a tooth that decay or damage has compromised, and it is among the most reliable treatments in dentistry: crowns routinely last 10 to 30 years, which is as close to permanent as dental treatment gets. Fitting takes two visits - at the first we shape the tooth and place a temporary crown; at the second we fit, adjust, and cement the final restoration.
